So I decided that I needed to learn more about tweaking, blogging, and the like so I went to the delicious website to search on how other teachers use all this up and coming technology. I found this video that takes all the technical words and makes it more simple for those of us that need to go slowly.
I know that there a lot of people that resist change since it takes them out of their comfort zone but quite often beautiful things come out of change, like a butterfly!
Continuity gives us roots; change gives us branches, letting us stretch and grow and reach new heights. ~Pauline R. Kezer
So I say to all my teaching friends and colleagues, reach out and grow!

Expanding boundaries in teaching
I am sitting here at the Marriott in a conference all about a whole new way of teaching and learning. I have been joined 'wikis', 'google reader', 'delicious', 'twitter', and I am starting to feel joined out! This is supposed to be up and coming in education but I wonder how far away the board of education and ministry are from giving the money for all of this technology.
Being a science teacher, I love the idea of accessing knowledge but I do not think that the computer will ever replace hands-on science.
Anyway, I think all this is super cool and I hope to be able to put it to use in my teaching practice.
